Dorothy L. Piercey, 67, of Steele, Mo., died Friday, October 6, 2000.
Born July 6, 1933 in Center Hill, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Clarence C. Taylor and Lessie Lee Stanfield.
Dorothy was united in marriage to Albert Franklin Piercey December 3, 1952 in Hernando, Miss. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Lee Taylor and a sister, Louise Levels.
She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Mrs. Piercey leaves her sister, Helen Juanita Morris, of Steele; One brother, Harold D. Taylor, of Blytheville, Ark.; and Nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Piercey were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2000 at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Rev. Gary Andrews Sr. and Rev. Annie Handley officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
