Dorothy L. Looney, age 57, of Purdy, died December 23, 2001, at Walnut Lawn Skilled Nursing Center in Springfield. She born May 20, 1944, in Purdy, and was a daughter of Robert Calvin and Lois Lucille (Hilburn) Utter. She was a homemaker and for six years owned and operated Papa Joe's Diner in Purdy with her husband. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Butterfield. She married Danny Looney on May 7, 1967, in Exeter, MO. She was preceded in death by two brother, Bob and Donnie Utter.
