MRS. MARGARET MIDCAP, AGED 60, DIES HERE

Victim of Pneumonia; Funeral and Burial To Be at Gibbs.

Mrs. Margaret Selby Midcap, 60 years old, died last night at 7:50 o'clock at the home of her niece, Mrs. Aurel R. Beets, and family, 713 East Jefferson Street. Death was attributed to influenza and pneumonia.

Mrs. Midcap, who had been living in Macon with a sister, came here a week ago last Tuesday to visit Mrs. Beets. She became ill last Friday.

The funeral is to be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian Church in Gibbs. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, west of Gibbs, beside her husband, William Midcap, who died May 6, 1930. The body is to lie in state at the Summers & Son Funeral Home here until time for the rites.

Mrs. Midcap was born in Adair County, Missouri, February 14, 1876, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Selby. She and her husband reared a niece, Mrs. Beets, and a nephew, Glen Selby, now of Moberly.

Surviving are her father, Abe selby [sic], of near Macon; three brothers, Harry Selby, Macon; Pearl Selby, Jacksonville, and Wib Selby, Macon; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Blackwell, Monroe City, and Mrs. Lola Weisenborn, Macon, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Midcap lived at Monroe City, prior to moving to Macon shortly before her husband died.
