Mrs Houck was the daughter of Chris and Alice (Carterman) Taylor. She received her education at Butterfield. She graduated from Butterfield High School in 1950, which was the last class to graduate there. For several years she was employed as a window sasher at Efco. On 25 Mar 1975 in Reno, Nevada she was united in marriage to Darrell Houck.
She had moved from Cassville to Cape Fair where she resided for twenty years and was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs Houck are her sons Gary Heidt w/wife Patricia of Fenton and Bill Heidt of Concord, CA; her sister Patricia Davidson of Cassville; plus 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs Houck were her parents, husband, daughter Patricia Hoven, son Tom Heidt plus a granddaughter.
Doctor Hunter Sherman will conduct the services on Friday. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
