FUNERAL OF A. H. VENDRES
Services Were Held Yesterday Afternoon at the Knell Chapel
Last rites for Albert H. Vendres, who died Friday at Independence, Mo., were held yesterday afternoon at the Knell chapel in this city, Rev. J. W. Trowbridge of the Christian church, officiating. The burial was in Park Cemetery. The services were attended by many members of the G.A.R., Mr. Vendres being an old soldier and also a veteran of the Mexican War.
