Roberta Jean Boggs, 72, daughter of Jesse Franklin and Mabel Roberts Lambeth, was born Oct. 17, 1931, in Brownbranch, Mo. She passed away Sept. 14, 2004, in Houston House.
Roberta married Leon Boggs, Oct. 26, 1950. To this union one daughter, Trudy, was born. Leon preceded her in death April 26, 2001.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Trudy Sherman, of Roby, Mo.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Roberta enjoyed collecting dolls and growing roses.
She will be missed by family and friends.
A private service was held Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m., in the Ava Cemetery. Pastor Neil Crum officiated. Services under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
