OBITUARY - Pineville Herald, Dec 18, 1936 - M. Z. Utter, 85 years old, a widely known retired farmer died at 7 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of a son S. E. Utter, nine miles southwest of Rocky Comfort, after an illness of seven weeks. He was born at Franklin, Indiana, and had lived in the Rocky Comfort district 60 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Rocky Comfort, with Rev. Sherman Erickson in charge. Burial was in the Owsley cemetery.
