Elizabeth Jane Stebbins, 61, Rt. 4, Berryvile, died Friday, Jan. 26,1979 at the Carroll General Hospital, Berryville, after a long illness. She was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Roger Mills County, Okla., a daughter of Roslan and Mattie (Seetin) Skinner.
On Feb. 24, 1937, she was united in marriage to Vestal Stebbins and to this union three children were born. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Vestal Stebbins, of the home; one son, Merland Stebbins of Oklahoma City, Okla., two daughters, Arleta Allen of Bentonville and Eloyce Allen of Rt. 1, Shell Knob, Mo.; four brothers, Rody Skinner of Lawrence, Kan., Francis Skinner of Lawrence, Kan., Sam Skinner of Sayre, Okla., and Mark Skinner of Dora, N.M.; two sisters, Mildred Rood of Lawrence, Kan., and Hattie Richards of Carlsbad, N.M.; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, at the McGuire Church with Rev. Ray Shelton and Wayne Writer officiating. Interment was in the McGuire Cemetery under direction of the Nelson Funeral Service of Berryville.
