Mildred Lorraine Hall, 83, of Goodman, Mo., passed away at 8:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on Dec. 4, 1924, in Neosho, Mo., daughter of the late Eddie and Iolis (Holbrook) Wander of Splitlog, Mo. On Nov. 22, 1942, at the Splitlog Baptist Church she was united in marriage to Fred A. Hall. Mildred was the best wife and mother; devoted to her husband and family. Her love for her family was only exceeded by her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mildred was a living example of God's love. She was an inspiration to all through her positive attitude and kind disposition. Mildred was a life long member of the Splitlog Baptist Church, working tirelessly in the children's department and kitchen ministry. She was also a devoted member of the Republican Party and served as an election judge in McDonald County for 37 years. Mildred is survived by her husband of 65 years, Fred A. Hall, of the home; two sons, Gene Hall and wife, Margaret, of Anderson, Mo., and Mark Hall and wife, Ronda, of Wheaton, Mo.; three daughters, Sharon Huey and husband, Bruce, of Lenexa, Kan., Carole Wardlaw and husband, Mark, of Stella, Mo., and Kathy Shaddox and husband, Tray, of Pineville, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
