Hoyt Franklin Martin, 68, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Friday, March 24, 1933 in Mississippi to the late Noah Franklin Martin and Daisy Emma Ivy Martin. He was a tv/small applicance repair man. He served in WWII in the army.
Survivors include three sisters, Ollie and her husband Andy Yanick of Imperial, Mo., Jean Fortner of Steele, and Maxine Martin of Hayti; five nieces, Pat Potts of Hayti, Betty Baker of Bradenton, Fla., Karen Terry of Wentzville, Mo., Karla Johnson and Kara Ward both of Steele; and two nephews, Jack Fortner of Travis Air Force Base, Calif., and Keith House of Steele; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Services were 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Steele, Mo. was in charge of services.
