Joseph Archie Everett, 74 year old retired farmer of this community died Tuesday, September 9, 1952. Funeral services were held September 10 at the Bayou Boon Chapel Church of Christ with Bro. Lacey Porter officiating at the services.
Mr. Everett was born December 6, 1877 in Carroll County, Tenn., and moved to this community 44 years ago.
Those who mourn his passing are his daughter, Mrs. Christine Arnold, of Caruthersville, Route 1, three sons, Hulon, Glenn and Ivan, all of Ferndale, Mich.; two brothers, S. V. Everett, Oakland, Calif., and Virgil Everett, Flint, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. W. C. Wyatt, Huntingdon, Tenn., nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, eight nieces and six nephews.
Interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery with German Funeral Home having charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Everett, of Steele, were conducted Monday at the Boon Chapel Church of Christ at Gibson, with the pastor, Brother Lacy Porter officiating. Interment was at Mt. Zion Cemetery with the German Funeral Home in charge of arrangments.

Mrs. Everett passed away at her home near Steele Sunday night following a long illness. She was 68.

Mrs. Everett, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Tosh, was born December 23, 1880, in Carroll County, Ky. She came to this community with her husband in 1909 and lived on their farm until her death. Mrs. Everett was a member of the Church of Christ, and was loved and respected by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, J. A. Everett; one daughter, Mrs. Christine Arnold of Steele; three sons: Hulan, Ivan and Glenn of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters: Mrs. J. S. Wyatt of Osceola and Mrs. M. A. Johnson of Memphis; one brother, A. H. Tosh of Rector, Ark.; eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
