Steele, Mo.--Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon for Mrs. D.I. Clark, 52, who died late Friday night at the Methodist Hospital at Memphis, Tenn., after a short illness. Services were held at the Methodist Church at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. H.S. Holly conducting the services. Interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Mrs. Clark, a native of Perry, Ark., came to this community 16 years ago. She was taken to the Methodist Hospital in Memphis on Wednesday of last week and died two days later after an illness of only six days. Death was caused by circulatory collapse. She was an active member of the Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Wakeleigh Clark, and three daughters, Mrs. Leyon Earls, Mrs. Maridicine Peterson and Miss Crystal Clark, and two granddaughters, Lorette Lee and Davy Ann Earls, all of Steele.
