Sarah Williamson, 77, of Hialeah Gardens, Fla., died Friday, December 7, 2001, at her home.
Born April 21, 1924 in Steele, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Randolph and Cren Alpha Johnson Williamson. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
She became a minister and licensed by the Southern Missouri District Council of the Assemblies of God in April of 1949. She and her sister Peggy served as Missionaries in the Bahamas from 1961-1974.
Miss Williamson leaves two sisters: Ocie Dillard and Peggy Williamson of Hialeah Gardens; and Nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Miss Williamson were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2001 at the Assembly of God Church in Steele with Rev. Jim Rentz and Rev. Charles Clark officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Rev. John Badgley, Glen Flood, Steve Flood, Clifford Powell, Glenn Griffin, and Charles Clark.
