Mrs. Leda Mae Moss, 89, of Steele, died Sunday, July 29, 1984 at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. Born May 19, 1895 in Steele, she was the daughter of John and Emma Ayers Kenley. She was married in 1912 to Theodore Moss.
Mrs. Moss was born on May 19, 1895, in Steele. She was married in 1912 to Theodore Moss, who preceded her in death.
She leaves three sons: C.G. Moss of Steele; Cecil Moss of Kennett; and J.W. Moss of Washington Park, Ill.;
Two daughters: Jewell Roberts of Rolla; and Delcie Mathenia of Staunton, Ill.;
Twenty-three grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, July 31, 1984, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home in Steele. Rev. Ira Wilkins officiating.
Pallbearers were Steven and Greg Flood, Lynn and Greg Moss and Paul and Randy Mathenia.
