Bill Henry, 84, Ozark, died Monday, Jan. 4, 1993 in Springfield. He was born March 19, 1908, the son of Press and Hattie Stutesman Henry.
Throughout his life he lived in the Ozark area and was a farmer. He was a World War II veteran. He was united in marriage to Lula Rose Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Lou; a daughter, Shirley Ann Smith, Rock, KS; two grandchildren, Jerri Palmer, Springfield, and Lora Landis, Ozark; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy Palmer, Constance Fanning and Casey Landis; a sister, Ethel McClimmons, Jerome, Idaho; nieces and nephews.
Services were held in Highlandville Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Long officiating.
Lula Rose Henry, age 88, Ozark, passed away May 26, 2010. She was born February 16, 1922 in Christian County, the daughter of Mark V. and Rosie (Robinson) Adams. Lula was united in marriage to Bill Henry, who preceded her in death in 1993.
Survivors include her daughter Shirley Smith; two granddaughters Jerri Palmer and Lora Simmons; three great grandchildren, Jeremy Palmer, Constance Sherron, and Casey Landis; three great-great grandchildren; and five siblings.
Lula was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; and five siblings.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
