Marcella Adams, 55, of Rives, Mo., died Thursday, November 22, 2001, at the Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, Mo.
Born Sunday, December 23, 1945 in Vinton, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late William Covington and Beulah Lungar Covington.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Ray Adams, one grandson, Mitchell Hatley and one sister, Lillian Lindsey.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Adams leaves her companion, Junior Pritchett, of Rives; three daughters: Tammy Murphy of Campbell, Mo., Terri McElhaney of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Theresa Adams of Bragg City, Mo.; two brothers: Ray Covington of Belmont, Iowa and Dale Covington of Coulter, Iowa; two sisters: Wilma Rich of Coulter, and Frances Roster of Vinton; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mrs. Adams were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2001 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo., with Rev. Robin Pritchett officiating.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of services.
Pallbearers were Greg McElhaney, Tommy Foster, Danny Bay, William Pritchett, Sr., Glen Pritchett, and Keith Pritchett.
