Dr. T.A. Michie, for 40 years a physician at Steele and member of a well known family, died at 10:45 o'clock this morning at Memphis Methodist Hospital. He was 71.
Stricken with the same illness that has brought death to several other members of his family, Dr. Michie had a heart attack yesterday afternoon. He was immediately removed to the Memphis hospital.
He is survived by his wife, M. Ida Michie; three sons, T.A. and Sims Michie of Steele, and Charles Michie of Osceola.
