Wilda E. Boydston, 90, Joplin, Mo., passed into eternal rest at 12 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Spring River Christian Village in Joplin, after an illness. Wilda Elizabeth Siler was born March 13, 1919, in Neosho, Mo., the daughter of James and Callie (Adams) Siler. She had lived in the area all her life. Wilda was a retired school teacher. She had taught at various schools in Seneca and the surrounding area including, Seneca Number 4, Dessa, Westview, Spurgeon and Seneca R-7. Wilda was of the Christian faith. Wilda E. Siler married Max Leo Boydston, Dec. 24, 1941, in Cassville, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1970. Survivors include one daughter, Monieta Pullara, Joplin; one niece, Twyla Raney, Joplin; and many many students. Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Burkhart Cemetery in Racine, Mo., with Allen Britnall officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
