Missouri

Jun 5, 1949 Salem, Dent, MO
Jun 20, 2011 Pomona, Howell, MO
Son of George & Samme (Butner) Roberts

Corky passed away unexpectedly June 20, 2011, at his home in Pomona, MO. Born on June 5, 1949 in Salem, MO to George & Samme (Butner) Roberts, he was 62 years old.
Corky grew up in Willow Springs where he graduated from high school. In 1972, he married Pamela Valle, & to this union two sons were born. He was a good father & proud of his sons. He joined the Marine Corps & later joined the National Guard. Corky had been a Driver Examiner for the Missouri Highway Patrol for 31 years until his retirement. He was an active member of the Pomona Christian Church.
Corky was an avid turkey & deer hunter & could match any story, true or not, some of the other hunters could come up with. His health had been failing this past year, but you would still get that "Corky humor" once in a while.
He was preceded in death by both parents & his niece Becky Wagner.
He is survived by his two sons, Chris of West Plains & Andy & his wife Shannon & children Drew & Jillian of Bonner Springs, KS; one sister, Marcia Wagner & husband Mick of Willow Springs; & nephew Joe Wagner, wife Tanya, & children of Willow Springs; and his former wife Pamela Roberts-Murray of West Plains.
