Samme S. Roberts, 71, Willow Springs, passed away Jun 29, 1990 at her home.
Samme was born May 3, 1919 in Winona, MO to Raymond and Grace Seaman Butner.
Samme taught school in her earlier years.
She was preceded in death by her parents & an infant sister, Vivian Violet Butner.
Survivors include her husband, George of the home; one son, Raymond "Corky" Roberts, Pomona; one daughter, Marcia Wagner, Willow Springs; two sisters, Johnabell Black of Van Buren & Jean Burkhart of Bluffton, IN; four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 2 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Keith Cunningham officiating. Interment was under the direction of Hiler Funeral Home of Willow Springs.

George Roberts, son of the late Marion and Cora Lee Thomas Roberts, was born May 23, 1919 in Eminence, MO. He died Apr 13, 2004 at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs at the age of 84 years 19 months and 21 days.
He was united in marriage to Samme Butner on May 18, 1942. She preceded him in death and he married Beulah Kelly Caton on Jul 29, 1991. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. He was employed by the Missouri Highway Patrol as a mechanic until his retirement. He was a member of the Pomona Christian Church.
