Rex Wayne Horner, 49, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County, in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Oct. 27, 1955, in Cassville, the son of Fredalene (Cooper) Horner and Wayne R. Horner.
He was a graduate of Cassville High School. He also was a graduate of Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, obtaining a bachelor's degree in fine arts.
He was employed by Wal-Mart Stores Inc. for over 24 years. He was an art director at the home office in Bentonville. He was also the director of the Wal-Mart Visitors Center, located in downtown Bentonville, Ark.
He was united in marriage to Joni Young on Dec. 31, 1993, in Eureka Springs, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
