Gilbert Eroy Bradford, 79, son of Richmond Bradford and Mary Pruett Bradford, was born May 22, 1922, in the Clear Springs community. He died Dec. 15, 2001, at his home at Willow Springs.
He married Juanita Taber Oct. 28, 1946, at West Plains. They had three children.
Mr. Bradford served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked on the pipeline in various parts of the United States and 25 years for Rawlings. He farmed most of his life and his grandchildren were the light of his life.
He accepted Christ in the spring of 1996 and was baptized Sept. 8, 1996, and attended the Clear Springs Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Pauline Lee and Delitha Bradford.
Surviving are his wife of the family home; one son, Troy Bradford of Willow Springs; two daughters, Denise Wilson of Cabool and Faye Kyle of Eunice; a foster child, Susie Oisten of Kingston, Okla.; two brothers, Fred Bradford of St. Ann and Dale Bradford of Willow Springs; four sisters, Ellen Couch of Des Moines, Iowa, Genieve Hill of Springfield, Marie Bell of Mountain View and Louise Cox of West Plains; six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 18 at the Clear Springs Community Church with burial in the Clear Springs Cemetery under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.

Juanita Geneievie (Taber) Bradford was born October 14, 1925 in Oklahoma to Harrison and Bertha (Busby) Taber. She passed away February 15, 2008 at St. John's Medical Center, Springfield, MO at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 1 day.
Juanita married Gilbert Bradford of Clear Springs, MO October 28, 1946. To this union, three children were born.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; father, Harrison Taber; mother, Bertha Taber; brothers, Roscoe Taber, Joe Taber, and Tabe Taber; sisters, Clarissa Robinson, Bea Burks, Pearl Smith, and Maxine Kaut.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Linda Bradford of Willow Springs, MO; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Don Wilson of Cabool, MO; Faye and Dan Kyle of Eunice, MO; and one foster daughter and husband, Susie and Greg Snider of Kingston, OK. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Amanda Newby and husband Heath, Jason Brawley, Eric Brawley, Matthew Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Bradley Oisten, and Eva White; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Caylyn Newby; three step-grandchildren, Dallas Kyle and wife Marybeth, Paul Kyle and wife Amanda, and Rendy Wilson; two step-great grandchildren, Marley and Dallas Kyle, Jr.; special family friends Elmer and Yvonne Bradford, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Juanita attended church at Clear Spring Community Church as long as her health permitted. She enjoyed the visits and times she had with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker all of her married life. She also served as tax collector for Pierce Township, collecting taxes in her home for many years.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 1 PM at Clear Springs Church with Rev. Hubert Darter officiating. Interment was in Clear Springs Cemetery under the care of Bradford Funeral Home.
