Juanita F. Gibson, age 68, of Springfield passed away Monday, October 31, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 20, 1943 in La Junta, CO to the late Alvin C. Arnold and Dorothy L. Evans. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two infant children, Rosalee Fay and Leona Chloe Gibson and four siblings, Marvin, Jimmy, Betty and JoAnn.

Survivors include her loving husband, Ray Gibson, of the home; children, Henry Ray Gibson and wife Karen of Strafford, Vickie Dee Marshall and husband Michael of Sparta, and Thelma Lou Gillette of Willard; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; five siblings, Phyllis Baggett, Pauline Hyden and husband Ernest, Alvin Arnold, Jr., Judy Henry and husband Dwayne and John Arnold; numerous other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011 in Bellview Cemetery under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. John’s Hospice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
