Son of Fredrich & Mary (Neff) Wagner

Mrs. Glenna Wagner passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 in her Willow Springs home, after a lengthy illness surrounded by her family. Born on February 25, 1929 near Eminence, Missouri to Monte and Lola (Randolph) Woods, she was 80 years old.
Mrs. Wagner grew up near Eminence where she graduated from high school. After high school, she attended college in Springfield, Missouri, where she earned her teaching credentials. She later moved to California where she met William Wagner; the couple married in November of 1951 in San Bernardino, California, and to this union three children were born. Mr. and Mrs. Wagner returned to Missouri in 1957 where they purchased a farm outside Willow Springs. Mrs. Wagner enjoyed gardening and raising cattle; however, her greatest enjoyment was her family. In addition to working on her farm, Mrs. Wagner worked as a cook for the Willow Springs Schools for many years. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Monte and Lola Woods; her son, Ted A. Wagner in January of 2009; a grandson, Travis Wagner in 1982; and six brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Wagner is survived by her husband, William Wagner of Willow Springs; two sons, Fred Wagner and his wife Cindy; and Steve Wagner and his wife Kathy; all of Willow Springs. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law, Ledena Wagner of Summersville; grandchildren, Sara Sloan and her husband Tommy, of Willow Springs; Andria Wall and her husband, Brad, of Marshfield; Alisha Favazza and her husband, Matt of Branson; Mackenzie Wagner of Summersville; Timothy Starbuck of Kirksville; and Michael Kelley and his wife, Marisa of Italy. She is further survived by four great-grandchildren.
Services were held in the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Willow Springs, under the direction of the Willow Springs Funeral Home on March 12. She was buried at Nagle Cemetery.
