Widow of Mack Utley
Mrs. Carrie Utley, sister of Mrs. Embree, passed away Monday evening at 6:20, at the Embree home.
Carrie Moore was born December 27, 1871; died March 9, 1931; age 59 years, 2 months, 12 days.
She was married to J. M. Utley, of Tyrone, in 1909, and since the death of her husband three years ago, Mrs. Utley has made her home with her sisters, most of the time with Mrs. Embree. Like Mrs. Embree, she has been in frail health for a long time.
She united with the Christian church at an early age and has lived a true christian life. All that is said of Mrs. Embree in the above obituary can be truthfully said of Mrs. Utley. Sufferers together and helpers of each other through many of the past months, these two good women now share together the joys of their Heavenly reward.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. J. H. Crocker Wednesday forenoon and burial at New Hope cemetery.
Many friends regret the passing of these two kindly old ladies.
