New Hope Cemetery
Texas County,
Missouri

May 30, 1836 Texas Co., MO
Jan 28, 1924 Cabool, Texas, MO
Dau. of Michael & Ann (Bean) Killion

Death came to Grandma Lou Robison widow of Kage Robison at 10 o'clock last Monday morning at the home of her daughter in Cabool, sickness and old age bringing to a close a long and well spent life. This was one of the real old mothers of Texas County, being 88 years old at time of death. Mrs. Robison was born in Illinois and was a daughter of Michael and Thenia Killion. She came to Texas County with her parents in 1842, making her one of the real old settlers and the family was actively connected with the early history of Texas County. She was a sister of Aunt Nan Sutton and Aunt Sally Douglas, of this city. She leaves four sons: John, James, William and Charley Robison, and two daughters: Mrs. Thomas Todd and Alice Robison, to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother. Many relatives and friends are scattered throughout the county who will learn of the death of Grandma Robison with deepest regret. Fast these fine old citizens are passing off the stage of action and leave only tender and loving memories of a well spent and useful life, good deeds done and a true christian service to their Master.
Funeral services were conducted at Solo Tuesday afternoon by Rev. T.L. Hays and burial in the cemetery at that place.
