Funeral Services for Robert N. Lee To Be Held Thursday
Robert Nelson Lee, 74, father of 16 children, died in his home in Texas County Saturday night. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Community Church with the Rev. Floyd Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Gove Cemetery with Burns Funeral Home of Willow Springs in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Letha Lee; 10 sons, Robert N. Lee, Vinton Kan., I. J. Lee, and George Lee both of Willow Springs, Elmer O. Lee, San Antonio, Tex., Frank Lee and Dale Lee both of Benton, Kan., the Rev. Louis Lee, Genser, Ill., Irvin L. Lee, Minneapolis, Minn., the Rev. Everett Lee, Velvit, Kan., and Henry Lee, U. S. Navy; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Grogan, Willow Springs, Mrs Thelma Wheeler and Miss Louise Lee, Rockford, Ill., Miss Betsy Grogan, Tyrone, Mo., Mrs. Nellie Richards, Hawthorne Calif., and Mrs. Irene Rainey, Weldona, Colo.; 33 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
