Funeral services for Tom Rollins, long-time resident of Holland, were conducted Friday, September 21, 1973.
Mr. Rollins was born December 20, 1889, in Smith County, Tenn., and died September 18, 1973, at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. He had been a Holland resident for 37 years.
Mr. Rollins leaves his widow, Mary Winfree Rollins; three daughters: Sada Shumach of Kansas City, Mo., Anna Marie McCormick, of St. Charles, Ill.; and Flossie Taylor, Holland; three sons: William Rollins of Murfreesboro, Ten., Luther Rollins of Steele, and Sidney Rollins of St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Nova Webb, of Dallas, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Holland with the rev. Owen Ring and the rev. Glenn Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers were William Sanford, Dobber Sanford, Wendy Scott, Lonnie Sanford, Jimmy Skaggs, and Jessie Morris.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery with German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mary Liza Rollins, 86, died January 23, 1980, at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. She was the wife of Tom Rollins.
Funeral service was held at the Holland Baptist Church on January 26 with the Rev. Glenn Johnson officiating
Mrs. Rollins was born June 13, 1893, in Tennessee and was a long-time resident of the Holland area.
She leaves three daughters, Sadie Shumake of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Marie McCarmick of St. Charles, Ill.; and Flossie Taylor of Holland; two sons, Sidney Rollins of High Ridge, Mo., and William Rollins of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Five children preceded her in death: Estelle Taylor, Frances Lelar, Falle Thomas Rollins, Luther Rollins, and Stanton Rollins.
She also leaves 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Skaggs, G.C. Heathcock, Donald Weaver, Elmer Davis, Emery Ballard, and Parker Worrell.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
