Dorothy Marie Glenn, 85, daughter of Jesse and Nancy Edward Goodman, was born Sept. 21, 1921, at Nagle. She died Aug. 2, 2007, at the Lester E. Cox Medical Center in Springfield.
She married James Frank Glenn July 19, 1941, at Big Creek. They had six children.
Mrs. Glenn enjoyed her garden and tending to her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Ray, Paul and Elmer Goodman; and one sister, Sylvia Herndon.
Surviving are her children, Dean Glenn and Karen Roberts of Elk Creek, Linda Carnal of Cabool, Carolyn Smith of Springfield, James Glenn of Udall and Fred Glenn of Greeley, Colo.; three sisters, Goldie Hurley and Doris Goforth of Houston and Lucille Christeson of Cabool; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Aug. 6 at the Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home Chapel in Cabool with Don Carter officiating. Burial was in the Steely Chapel Cemetery at Elk Creek.
