Vernon Thomas “Tommy” Noel, son of James David and Martha Ann (Hartley) Noel was born on September 9, 1933 in Roby, MO and departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday, November 07, 2016 at the age of 83.
Tommy was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Eula Elizabeth Gerean on September 17, 1955 and to this union three sons were born, Bobby, Jeff and Rusty.
Tommy worked for the Brown Shoe Company for 23 years. Then had his own business serving the community by installing TV antennas and satellites for 40 years.
Tommy was a kind, gentle and loving man; always helping others. He touched so many lives and was a good example for many people. He was a member of the Cabool Christian Church for over 50 years. His kids, grandkids and great grandkids were his life. His grandkids called him George.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eula Elizabeth; four brothers, Oscar, Ray, Kenneth and Henry; four sisters, Mildred, Silvia, Amy Henry and Ruby Graven. He is survived by a brother, James “Bob” Noel of Picayune, MS; three sons, Bobby Noel and wife Jeanette of Marshfield, MO, Jeff Noel and finance Jeanne of Nixa, MO and Rusty Noel and wife, Michelle of Mtn. Grove, MO; seven grandkids, six great grandkids and several nieces and nephews. [egcfuneralhome.com]
