Fay Whitson always went by her middle name. She married Virgil Roy Ellis Aug. 30, 1924 in Texas county, Missouri. He died in 1946 after having ten children together. Virgil Roy and Fay (Whitson) Ellis were married 21 years.
In 1953, Fay (Whitson) Ellis married Carl Edgar Aldridge and they moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where they lived for several years. They also lived in the Harrison, Arkansas, area for a short time, moving from there to Springfield, Missouri, where they lived until Carl's death in 1977 and Fay's death in 1985.
At an early age Fay accepted Christ as her Saviour and at the time of her passing was a member of the Grant Avenue Free Will Baptist Church of Springfield, Missouri. Fay was faithful to her church until her health prevented her from attending.
Surviving are five daughters and four sons plus a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carl and Fay (Whitson) Aldridge were married for 23 years.
