Mrs. Bessie Weeks, wife of Robie Weeks, was found dead in bed at her home in Holland at 4:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. Mrs. Weeks had been in ill health from tuberculosis for some time and her sudden death was attributed to complications resulting from the disease.
Mrs. Weeks was born at Holland, Mo., April 1, 1912 and at the time of her death was age 25 years, 10 months and 1 day. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lester of Holland.
The deceased is survived by the husband, parents; three children: Billie, Dickie and Reta; two sisters, Mrs. Wade Channell of the Denton community and Nellie Lester of Holland; and two brothers, Harry of Holland and Lester, of Dell, Ark. Many other relatives and friends are left to mourn the loss of one they dearly loved.
Funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday) at the Baptist Church in Holland, and interment will be made in the Mount Zion Cemetery. German Undertaking Co. is in charge of arrangements.
