Funeral services were held Monday, September 5, 1977 at the Assembly of God Church in Steele for Leo Colley Douglas, 64 of 101 McCollum Street, Steele. Mr. Douglas died at his home September 2, 1977.

Rev. Bill Sikes and Rev. Raymond Linder officiated at the services with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.

Mr. Douglas leaves his wife, Mrs. Lucille Scott Douglas; two daughters: Mrs. Joe Patrick of Duncan, Okla., and Mrs. Jack McGee of Hereford, Texas; one grandson, Roger McGee; and three sisters: Mrs. Viola Moore of Holland, Mrs. Cora Lee Hoover of Snow Lake, Ark., and Mrs. Bertha Ham of Gobler, Mo.

He was the son of the late William Oscar and Estelle Craig Douglas, born January 22, 1913 in Pontotoc, Miss.

Pallbearers were Rev. Charles Faught, Eldridge Gray, Glenn Flood, Wayne Britt, Kenneth Kennedy and Eugene Threadgill.
