Delvy (Jack) Heathcock, a retired merchant and veteran of World War I died November 18, 1975, at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Poplar Bluff. He was 77.
Heathcock was born May 7, 1898 at Holland to the late Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Heathcock. He was married to the late Ella Lester.
He leaves one son, Elton Heathcock, Novi City, Mich..; two daughters: Zelda Neal, Walled Lake, Mich.; and Frankie Webb, Mt. Clemens, Mich.; four half-brothers: Otis Heathcock, Kennett; Cooper Heathcock, Steele; Verlon Heathcock and J.W. Heathcock, Elaine, Ark.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 20, 1975 at 10:00 a.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele with the Rev. Glenn Johnson officiating.
Interment was in the Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele with the John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
