Funeral services were held April 3, 1978 for Mrs. Mary Steward, 73, Rev. David Hart officiated at the services held at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Steward was born June 24, 1904 at Iron City, Tenn., and died March 31, 1978 at the Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Troy, Mo. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Dorris Harris; one son, Edward Robertson of Holland; two sisters: Rose Blakely of Holland and Stella Butler of Iron City, Tenn., five brothers: Elvin Kelley of Silva, Mo., William of Breckenridge, Texas, Dalton Kelley of Holland; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery with German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Shady Grove, Jr., Olan Pierce, Junior Galbraith, Jim Rucker, Gerald James and Allen Brown.
