Bill Robinson, Jr., 36, of Cooter, died Sunday, July 31, 2005 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Ark.
Born June 2, 1969 in Hayti, he was the son of Stella Barnard Robinson and Bill Robinson, Sr.
He graduated from South Pemiscot High School in Steele in 1987, and was a member of the Cottonwood Point Baptist Church in Cottonwood Point.
He was employed by Nucor Steel in Blytheville.
Mr. Robinson leaves his mother, Stella Robinson, of Rector, Ark.; his father, Bill Robinson, Sr., of Caruthersville; two children: Stuart Robinson and Alexandra Robinson, both of Steele; two sisters: Suzette Burleson and Terra Robinson; one brother, Brock Robinson; two special cousins: Billy Joe Stanfield and Ricky Joe Stanfield; six nieces and nephews: Ariel Burleson, Roman Burleson, Joel Burleson, Morgan Burleson, Kaylon Robinson and Mikayla Robinson; and a very special person in Bill's life, Mr. Sam Billington, whom he looked up to as a father figure, his mentor and his "coach" in life.
Funeral services for Mr. Robinson were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Mr. John Mundy officiating.
Burial was at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Curt Medlin, Daryl Booker, Heath Booker, Chris Medlin, Eric Dent and Chris Tramell.
