Mr. James Nathaniel (Jim) Clayton, 61, of Cooter, Mo., died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Central in Memphis, Tenn.
He was born in Armorel, Ark. to the late Jimmie Lee Clayton and Mrs. Arlene Kemper.
A member of the Tyler (Mo.) Baptist Church, he spent most of his life in Blytheville, Ark. and was a maintenance electrician with Southwire Company in Osceola, Ark.
Mr. Clayton leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Evelyn Clayton, of Cooter; One daughter, Donna Kaye Clayton, of the home; His mother, Mrs. Arlene Kemper, of Blytheville; Two half brothers: Ralph Kemper of Jackson, Mich. and Elmer Kemper of Blytheville; Two half sisters: Ms. Nora Brown and Ms. Atelia Black, both of Georgia; and two brothers-in-law: Ronnie Edward Robertson and Randy Lee Robertson, both of Wright City, Mo.
Funeral services for Mr. Clayton were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, 1997, in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel at Blytheville with Rev. David Hart officiating.
Burial was at the Mr. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo., with Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville in charge.

Mary Evelyn Robertson Clayton, 69, of Cooter, MO., passed from this life Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO.

She was born in Holland, MO., to Edward Lee and Evelyn Parrott Robertson, she was homemaker and a member of Tyler Baptist Church.

Mary enjoyed antiquing, collecting Barbie's and she loved her cocker spaniel, Brittany.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Clayton.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Donna Kaye Clayton, of the home and brothers, Ronnie Robertson and Randy Robertson, both of Warrenton, MO.

Graveside services were at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, MO. Arrangements were by Cobb Funeral Home.
