Funeral service for C.L Miller was held December 31, 1980 at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. A.C. Gardner and Rev. Frank Payne officiated.
Mr. Miller was about January 25, 1920 at Bath Springs, Tenn., and died December 29, 1980 at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti. He was 60.
He leaves his wife, Ruby Miller, of the home; seven children: Carolyn Rothwell of Arnold, Mo.; J.C. Miller, of Norris City, Ill.; Patricia Tinsley of Anniston, Ala., Billy D. Miller of Norris City, Ill.; Connie Miller of Jonesboro, Ark.; Earl Miller of Deering and Tommy M. Miller, of Caruthersville; five brothers: Riley Miller, Clifford Miller, and Albert Miller, all of Deering J.W. Miller of Cahokia, Ill.; and John Henry Miller of St. Louis, Mo; one sister, Mrs. Irene Whatley of Northport, Ala.; seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Milford Richardson, earl Richardson, Malcolm Privett, Dean Cole, Alvin Skinner, and Jadie Barnard.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ruby Aliene Miller, 90, of Deering, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011 in Hayti.
Born July 9, 1921 in Obion County, Tenn., she is the daughter of the late John Calvin Lee and Eula Mae Bell Lee.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Edward Lee and Earl Franklin Lee and one sister, Dorothy Mays.
Ruby was united in marriage to C.L. Miller on Nov. 24, 1939 in Dyer County, Tenn. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Deering.
Mrs. Miller leaves three daughters: Carolyn Gail Rothwell of Imperial, Mo., Patricia A. Tinsley of Hephzibah, Ga., and Connie Barber of Jonesboro, Ark.; Four sons: J.C. Miller of Norris City, Ill., Billy Don Miller and Carl Leon Miller, both of Deering, and Tommy Morris Miller of Braggadocio; Three sisters: Velma Miller of Ohio, Tenn., Loretta Henson of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Hazel Lafferty of Flint, Mich.; One sister-in-law, Lois Lee of Obion; and Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Miller were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.R. Davis officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
Pallbearers were Tom Lebo, Chris Miller, Carl Miller, John Calhoun, Dale Jones and Jimmy Eastburn.
