Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 18, 1982 at 2:00 p.m., at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele for Mrs. Mary King, 69. Rev. W.S. McDonald officiated. Danny Lacer was the pianist and the Tyler Ladies Trio sang.
Mrs. King was born January 23, 1913 at Alton, Illinois, and died May 16, 1982 at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
She leaves her husband, Zara King, of the home; three daughters, Minnie Bell Hilburn of Osceola, Arkansas, May Barnett of Caruthersville and Helen Wyatt of Steele; two sons, Johnny King of Gideon, Missouri and Paul King of Caruthersville; two brothers, Elmer Glowner of Caruthersville and Alfred Glowner of Osceola; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
