Geneva Ailene Archer Rimel, 78, second child of Van and Ivel Tuttle Archer, was born Dec. 10, 1923, at Pocatello, Idaho. She died March 13, 2002, at Rogers, Ark.
The family moved to Missouri when she was a small child. She graduated from Cabool High School in 1942. A few years later, she ac-cepted Christ as her savior.
She married Junior Rimel on June 15, 1947. They had four children and made their home in Cabool from 1947 to 1997, when they moved to Rogers, Ark., to be near their children.
Mrs. Rimel worked at Mid-America Dairymen for 30 years as a lab technician. She retired in 1985.
During their retirement, they traveled and made many trips by car around the country. In recent years, they traveled less but returned to the Houston/Cabool area for the annual Tuttle family reunion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Lavena Ellis and Effa Bell Bennett; and a brother, Lawrence Van Archer.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years; children, Roger of St. Louis, Connie Hatton of Rogers, Ark., Chris Rimel of Centerton, Ark., and Lori Bridgeford of Decatur, Ark.; a sister, June Ireland of Florida; and five grandchildren.
Services were March 16 at the Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darin Alvis officiating. Burial was in the Cabool Cemetery.
