Funeral services for Vivian Fay Weisbrod, 94, West Plains, Missouri, will be held Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, with Brother Keith Weisbrod officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Marvin Kelley and Gertrude Fay Kelley, on May 27, 1918 in Russell, Pennsylvania and died December 1, 2012 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage June 19, 1935 in Ellery Center, New York to Orvie D. Weisbrod, who preceded her in death December 20, 1988.
She is survived by four children, Phillip G. Weisbrod and wife, Leona, Solo, Missouri, LaVonne Head, Hardy, Arkansas, Ben D. Weisbrod, wife, Ebbie, West Plains, and Edward C. Weisbrod and wife, Rita, West Plains; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren, and fourteen great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five siblings, Horace Kelley, Wenifred Kelley, Russell Kelley, Dorthea Kelley, and Lucille Kelley, and one grandson.
She was a born again Christian. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother,and great great grandmother, and friend to many, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Mackey Cemetery, Howell Counrty, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
