David Walter Boster, 47, son of Walter and Zola Williams Boster, was born June 18, 1959, at Cabool. He died April 29, 2007, at his home at Elk Creek.
Growing up at Tyrone, he earned the name Davy Crockett from his favorite television show and coon-skin cap and became Uncle Davy to his nephews. They often rode calves he had trained.

Following his military service, he returned home and married Lesta Rae Hull in December 1986. He was a truck driver and helped his father on the family farm.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid guitar player. He loved to play and write music. In 1995, one of his songs, "The Cow Milkin' Blues" was nominated for an award in a song-writing contest.
He was preceded in death by his wife, mother and grandmother, Abby Rae Boster.
