Lincoln Dana, 87, of Excelsior Springs, MO, died at 12 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at the North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Dana was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Kansas City, MO, to J.W. and Jeanette (Allen) Dana. He married Cordelia Ann Kincaid of Ray County, MO, on May 3, 1937; she survives, of the home.
Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Larry French of Battlefield, MO; one daughter-in-law, Linda Turner of Kansas City, MO; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jon and Donna Dana of Richmond, MO, and Dan and Susan Dana of Prairie Village, KS; one sister and brother-in-law, Deana and Lowell Hendrix of Richmond, MO; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Richard W. Dana; and one sister, Grace Hendrickson.
Mr. Dana was a mechanic for TWA for 30 years before retiring in 1983. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Polo, Mo. He was also a 50+ year member of the Excelsior Springs (Mo.) Masonic Lodge #207. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Excelsior Springs (MO) Masonic Lodge #207 A.F. & A.M. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Masonic services will be held prior to the funeral service at 1:45 p.m. Visitation will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO., is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Ann Dana, 88 of Excelsior Springs MO passed away Saturday November 8, 2008 at the Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center.

Born March 18, 1920 in Ray Co. MO she was the daughter if Wiley William and Alma Pearl (Holder) Kincaid. On May 3, 1937 in Ray Co MO she was united in marriage to Lincoln Dana who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son Richard Dana; one sister Mary Anderson and one brother Robert Kincaid.

Surviving are one daughter, Jeanette French and husband Larry of Battlefield MO; 5 grandchildren, Ann Bird and husband Mike of Rogersville AR, James French and wife Jennifer of Springfield MO, Mike Dana of Kansas City MO, Mary Ann Arnold and husband John of Riverside MO and Dee Cromwell of Blue Springs MO; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dana was a 1937 graduate of Richmond High School. Following her marriage she was a homemaker and she and her husband lived on a farm near Knoxville, Missouri. After WWII they lived in the Polo area until moving to Excelsior Springs. In addition to being a homemaker, she had also been employed at various drug stores including Marietta Drug Store.

She was a member of the Polo Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Jewell Chapter #492. She enjoyed birds, flowers, traveling, especially her trips to Hawaii, visiting with friends and spending time with her family and her adored grandchildren.
