A memorial service for Rose Mae Wallin, 94, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wallin passed away at 12:00 Noon, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Peace Valley, Missouri.
She was born August 14, 1922, at Dora, Missouri, to Henry Womack and Mary Bass. On February 3, 1941, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Lloyd Wallin, who preceded her in death on May 17, 1982. Before her retirement, Mrs. Wallin worked as a cook. She loved gardening and flowers and was a “people person”.
She is survived by one son, Lloyd Neal Wallin and wife, Linda, Lexington, Texas; one granddaughter, Jessica Legan and husband, Chris, Springfield, Missouri; one great-grandson, Jay Paul; one sister, Sue Preston, Moody, Missouri; her best friend, Sharon Hale; her companion and very special friend, Raymond Rusty Callis; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and loved ones in Missouri and Texas.
Her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
