Bill H. Robertson, 77, of Willow Springs passed away Dec. 15, 2007, at Willow Care Nursing Home. Bill was born Feb. 15, 1930, at Manzanola, Colo., to A.R. and Alice (Haines) Robertson. Bill was a master sergeant in the Korean War serving with the Army. He is a lifetime member of the VFW, having served as quartermaster in Willow Springs for more than 20 years. He retired from MODOT after 38 years of service. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents A.R. and Alice Robertson Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy, of the family home. He is also survived by five children, Mickey and husband Ray Perkins, Toni and husband Ryan Boyle, all of Willow Springs, Ron Robertson of Mountain View, Carolyn Collins of West Plains, and Regina and husband Brian Balkenbusch of Wright City, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Becky, Billie, Tarissa, Nick, Drew, Hannah, Richard and Amanda; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Aleisha. Mr. Robertson is also survived by four brothers and three sisters, Gerald and wife Marilyn Robertson of Bozeman, Mont., Rex and wife Ellen Robertson of Three Forks, Mont., Merle and wife Darlene Robertson of Moorhead, Minn., Tom and wife Glenda Robertson of Glasford, Ill., Barbara Pruitt of Pekin, Ill., Joyce and husband Jim Williams of Clinton, Mo., and Betty and husband Gene Glisson of Willow Springs. Mr. Robertson is further remembered by cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous family friends. Funeral services for Bill will be Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the First General Baptist Church in Willow Springs with Scott Williamson officiating. Interment will follow Wednesday's services at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.
