Mrs. Alma G. Copeland Eggert, 88, of Cooter, died Oct. 25, 1987, at Pemiscot Nursing Home. Born July 27, 1899, in Cooter, she was the daughter of John T. and Ida S. Hinds Gilliland. She was a member of Cooter United Methodist Church and was a retired teacher.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Copeland of Van Nuys Calif.; Two daughters, Mrs. M. Adine Rhea of Cooter and Mrs. Renna Stine of Sacramento, Calif.; Five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. at Cooter United Methodist Church, the Rev Ken Attix officiating with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
