Lonnie Stewart, born July 7, 1893, in Madison County, TN, he was the son of John and Eliza Warren Stewart. He was a long time resident of this community. He died October 13, 1964 at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis.
He leaves a brother, Charlie Stewart of Medina, Tenn., and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Mullins, Humboldt, Tenn., and Mrs. Will Cook, Texas.
Services were at the First Baptist Church in Steele on October 15, Rev. James F. McCrary officiating. Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery, Steele; German Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
