Marvin Staggs, former Steele resident died in St. Louis Saturday, May 21. He was 37.
Born in Sikeston, Mr. Staggs was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Staggs. He was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Samford Church of Christ. Bro. Roy Lumpkin officiated.
Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Melba Jean Staggs, of Rives; two sons: Lonnie and Tommy; a daughter, Melba Sue; four brothers: Ellis, Berlon, Andy and William; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Bradford, Mrs. Estella Warnach and Mrs. Ethel Ackerman.
