Funeral services for Jessie Tetrick, 92, West Plains, were Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. Tetrick died at 1:05 p.m., Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at her home. She was born Feb. 10, 1918, at Blanche, Mo., to Landy and Lizzie Hicks Driskell. On July 3, 1937, she was married at Trail, Mo., to Manford Tetrick who preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 1983. Mrs. Tetrick enjoyed her garden, especially her roses; she was an Atlanta Braves fan, enjoyed quilting and loved her family. Since the early 1960s, she has been a member of the Sixth Street Church Church of God. Mrs. Tetrick was a member of the Women of the Church of God, served on the Board of Trustees, sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Whitmire, West Plains; two grandchildren, Kathy Bauer, husband, Ken and Bobby G. Whitmire, both of West Plains; two great-grandchildren, Anna Caitlan Whitmire Hicks, husband, Joshua, and Jordan Whitmire, friend, Mindy; several nieces and nephews; and extended family, Jean Ann Whitmire, Kristen Day, Dalton Day, and Valerie Bauer Matheson, husband, Andrew. Her parents, husband, two brothers and six sisters precede her in death. Burial was at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon Bible Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. [howellcountynews.com, Jan. 7, 2010]
