Graveside services for Dorothy Hayes, 85, of O'Brien, FL, formerly of West Plains, were Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, MO, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
Mrs. Hayes passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, in the Lake City Medical Center in Florida after a long illness.
She was united in marriage to Wayne L. Hayes, who preceded her in death, June 8, 2004.
The Amy, MO, native moved to O'Brien, FL, in 1993 from West Plains, MO. She attended the Melody Christian Center, Live Oak, FL.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Bybee, Albert Lee, MN; Glen Hayes, O'Briend, FL, and Lynn Hayes, Burnsville, MN; one sister, Evelyn West, West Plains, MO; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
